Tips and Troubleshooting

I can't find my confirmation email
  • Check your Spam or Bulk Mail folders for a message from send-as-noreply@google.com.
  • Login to BrentHost to configure/check your email accounts/aliases/forwarding, or ask your web developer for assistance.
My recipients see my Gmail address
  • If your recipient uses Outlook or another mail service, they might see something like, "From yourname@gmail.com on behalf of othername@otherdomain.com."
  • Your recipients might also see your original @gmail.com address if you:
    • Set up an out of office reply
    • Create a filter with automated response
    • Have a full mailbox, and your recipient gets notified
"Couldn't reach server" error
  • If you see this error message, first double check for correct email address and password used when setting up and try again, also consider these port numbers and authentication type settings: Use SSL with port 465, OR TLS with port 25 or 2525
